Who each resort suits, and how the price is built

Every resort page here is written for one kind of traveller rather than for everyone. Pick the profile that matches your group, then read the resort card for its snow months, travel route and price band. All prices follow the same basis: accommodation, the listed transfers, lift passes where stated, the booking fee and mandatory insurance.

  1. First season on snow

    Wide beginner zones, instructors who teach in English, and a night train from Kyiv with one change at Lviv.

  2. Families with children

    Short transfers from the station, ski schools on site and rooms that sleep four without a single supplement.

  3. Confident skiers and riders

    Glacier terrain, off-piste access and enough vertical for a full week without repeating a run.

  4. Groups and company trips

    Coach departures from Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa, priced per seat on one invoice for the whole party.

What the quoted price includes

  • Accommodation for the stated nights, breakfast included
  • The transfers listed on the resort card, station to hotel and back
  • Lift passes only where the card states they are included
  • Booking fee and mandatory insurance for your dates

Twenty percent reserves your places. Final numbers are confirmed 30 days before departure and the balance is due 21 days before departure. If snow cover turns unreliable, the Low-Snow Options process applies: re-route, partial refund of unused services, or a credit note. The full inclusions list sets out exclusions and equipment.

Each resort below is described by character, difficulty and who it suits. The same all-inclusive price basis applies to all: accommodation, listed transfers, lift passes where stated, booking fee and mandatory insurance.

Bukovel, Ukrainian Carpathians

Character
Purpose-built resort, wide groomed pistes, shortest journey from Lviv.
Difficulty
First turns to confident intermediate. Off-piste stays limited and guide-led.
Suits
First ski weeks, families with school-age children, mixed-ability groups.
Snow cover
Reliable late December to early March. Afternoons soften in late March.

Zakopane, Polish Tatra

Character
Wooden town at the foot of the Tatra wall, short linked slopes, thermal baths in the evening.
Difficulty
Beginner to intermediate, plus steep tree runs off Kasprowy Wierch for strong skiers.
Suits
Couples and small groups who want town evenings as much as the skiing.
Snow cover
January to early March is the safest window. Lower slopes stay thin in a dry December.

Livigno, Italian Alps

Character
High valley resort, long north-facing runs, one village street, plenty of hotel choice.
Difficulty
Intermediate to advanced, with long cruising runs and easy blues in the valley.
Suits
Strong intermediates chasing distance, groups of friends, returning skiers.
Snow cover
December to early April on north-facing runs. The valley floor fills later in December.

Accommodation, the transfers written on your itinerary, lift passes where the programme states them, our booking fee and mandatory insurance all sit inside the price. Below is what never gets added at checkout, and what stays optional.

Snow cover policy

Thin snow? You pick the outcome.

The weakest weeks in our programme are late January in the lower Carpathian villages and the first ten days of March in the Austrian valleys. When a resort cannot open the runs you booked, the Low-Snow Options policy applies a fixed process instead of a case-by-case argument.

  1. 01

    Re-route to higher ground

    We move the group to a resort above 1,400 m at no extra cost, keeping the same dates and the same night train or coach from Lviv or Kyiv.

  2. 02

    Refund the days you could not ski

    If a move is not possible, we refund the accommodation nights and lift passes you could not use, calculated per day of the trip.

  3. 03

    Shift the departure

    You may move the booking to another departure in the same season with no change fee. Final numbers are confirmed 30 days before travel, balance 21 days before.
